MUKUND MANOHAR

Mukund Manohar graduated from Indian School Muscat in 2002 upon the completion of 12th Standard. He completed his Bachelors of Science (B.S) in Financial Economics and his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland in the United States. Mukund is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Investment & Derivatives Auditor (CIDA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Private Equity Specialist (CPES).
Mukund worked in the Internal Audit function at Legg Mason, a global asset management firm based in Baltimore, United States for 8 years. In this role, he advised the organization on audit, risk and compliance based issues for their global equity and fixed income portfolios. He then moved to Dubai, UAE as an Internal Audit Manager for OSN, a premium pay TV network for the MENA region, and helped them enhance and improve their risk and governance functions across the region. He is currently an Investment Auditor at the State General Reserve Fund, Oman’s largest sovereign wealth fund that is under the oversight of the Ministry of Finance. In this role he evaluates the various high profile and key investments made by the Government of Oman around the world, across their Public market, Private Markets, Real Estate and Hospitality portfolios.
Mukund was also part of various social and not-for-profit organizations in the United States that included Ready at Five (focused on elevating school readiness) and Operation Hope (Providing financial literacy to underserved and low-wealth school districts). He was the Technology Chair at the Institute of Internal Auditors Baltimore chapter. Mukund has also been part of the CSR committees in the various organizations he has worked at.
